We are pleased to announce that the EUBBC-Digital Team from Universidad Privada Boliviana (UPB) won the GOLC Online Award 2024. The award was delivered during the GOLC Award Ceremony in the 21st International Conference on Smart Technologies & Education (STE 2024) held in Helsinki, Finland on March 7th 2024.
The Global Online Laboratory Consortium (GOLC) and the International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE) awarded the Remote Laboratory “Geographically Distributed Remote Laboratory for Photovoltaic Energy Efficiency studies based on altitude” in the “Remote Controlled Experiments” category. This work was presented by Andrés Gamboa, Alex Villazón, and Omar Ormachea.
This award represents an important milestone in the EUBBC-Digital Project, showing concrete results in the development of Remote Laboratories that can be accessed by all partners. The equipment of the PV Solar Remote Lab is deployed in three campuses of UPB in the cities of La Paz, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz.
