Participation Of The UPR In The 9th Stockholm International Conference On Vocational Education And Training Research

As part of the Communication and Dissemination actions of the International Project EUBBC Digital -618925-EPP-1-2020-1-BR-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP, the University of Pinar del Rio (UPR), presented a call for proposals and was accepted to the 9th Stockholm International Conference on Vocational Education and Training Research

The paper entitled “Creation of modules for Learnify from the flipped classroom approach. Experiences in the EUBBC-Digital Project” by the authors: Pedro Luis Yturria Montenegro, Meivys Páez Paredes, Reinaldo Meléndez Ruiz and Leonardo Aguiar Trujillo which pursues among its objectives the promotion and capacity building in digital education (create digital learning modules available worldwide, implement collaborative graduate programs in Latin America.

The Conference was held in Sweden as host country with the participation of 120 participants from Latin America, Europe, Asia, Australia, USA, Canada and Cuba.

The debate in parallel sessions and the presentation of the paper related to the use of the flipped classroom and the theory of challenge-based learning in the creation of modules generated a wide interest on the researchers and participants in the topics, contributing other solutions from the didactic point of view, which will serve to enrich their implementation.

As a summary, the overall opinion of the Conference was that the results presented showed high quality and the daily effort of their authors to solve common problems in the area of Vocational Education Training (VET).
